More than just a place to live.
Westminster House is a flagship community, the first in what has become a national trend that creates student housing open to students of all faiths and no faith, while remaining rooted in the Christian tradition of hospitality. This ethos is a stable and reassuring backdrop for students making the transition from home to college. We are an inclusive community designed to provide a friendly and welcoming environment for students attending UC Berkeley.
Modeled after “living-learning” communities and universities across the country, Westminster House focuses on building community in both our North and South Houses, providing a full menu of residential life programming and a network of support for all students during their college years.
Regular resident events are planned at our houses, events that forge friendships and create a sense of belonging for all. In addition, Westminster House is professionally managed and staffed by Resident Assistants (RAs) on each floor. These RAs are themselves under the care of a full-time Resident Life Director. House maintenance is also available around the clock.
